


A challenging brief to design the packaging for a new range of chocolate for grown-ups. I chose to question what it means to be a ‘grown-up’ and this turned into my thinking about the luxury of time to yourselves, time to indulge and relax. Making the product just for grown-ups but considering what would make it reminiscent of childhood, of play and fun. I decided to use the theme of adult colouring to make the product interactive, but also to encourage taking a moment to relax. The illustration itself is a collection of positively ‘grown-up’ things, luxuries, dreams and life - perfect for a gift to a friend, loved one or just for yourself. I also ended up thinking about how the product could be more personalised, with the idea of using illustrations with different themes such as sports, music, travel etc..
